Our Mission is to deliver the most effective, evidence-based wellness programs—combining therapeutic massage and data-driven nutrition—as a foundational and accessible health resource.

The Paradigm Shift: Health Care, Not Just Self-Care

For too long, therapeutic massage and dedicated dietary support have been classified as optional luxuries. At Endless Sea Wellness, we see these services as front-line health care options.

Pioneers and ongoing research in integrative medicine are leading a crucial paradigm shift, establishing bodywork and nutrition as evidence-based approaches to managing and preventing chronic conditions. This is why major health organizations now recommend non-pharmacological therapies like massage for conditions such as chronic low back pain, and nutritional therapist for the prevention and management of diseases like type 2 diabetes.

Who Benefits from This Integrated Approach?

We focus on populations who benefit tremendously from proactive and preventative health management:

  • Individuals under high stress: Those in high-stress work environments (military, law enforcement, corporate) who need effective, non-pharmacological tools to regulate nervous system function and prevent burnout.

  • Mothers (Prenatal & Postpartum): To ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby. By helping the mother regulate her stress, we foster a resilient nervous system in the baby, which can be tied to overall better health outcomes.

  • Those with Chronic Pain or Illness: Including the elderly, who benefit immensely from therapeutic human touch and genuine connection as a vital part of their pain management and functional improvement plan.

Massage therapy is NOT a replacement for medical care. It is a powerful complement. We encourage you to be the driver of your health and to ask your doctor if massage therapy and/or nutritional therapy could be a collaborative aspect of your health care plan.

My Journey: From Compassion to Clinical Practice

You are here because you might be overwhelmed with all of the information available out there, and the lack of trust you have with the conventional medical model. I hear you, and I'm here to help you navigate that complexity.

I became a massage therapist out of a deep-seated need to help and nurture. I was the child who offered to rub your back and take home sick animals. The transformative power of simple, intentional touch became clear early on. At 18, working stressful overnight shifts at a local coffee shop, I felt the effects of chronic tension firsthand. My first introduction to structured bodywork was Claire Davies' The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook, and I immediately began utilizing these techniques on friends and coworkers. Stressed out? Let me massage those traps and occipitals. Headache? Do you trust me to pinch this muscle at the front of your throat?

I formalized this passion at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies, graduating from their comprehensive 750-hour massage therapy program in December of 2019. Since then, I've worked with hundreds of individuals to address:

  • Pain Management

  • Stress and Anxiety Reduction

  • Symptom support for Chronic Illness

My practice has seen many repeat customers because I value one thing over all else: Collaboration and Connection.

We are all too familiar with the cold doctor's office, the five-minute visit, and the lack of genuine connection (if you have a great connection with your doctor, I’m genuinely happy for you!). I am not here to tell you that you shouldn't go to the doctor, in fact, quite the opposite. I help my clients advocate for themselves and their best care.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

So many people have questions about massage therapy and nutrition. Here are a few FAQs we address regularly:

Massage Therapy FAQs

  • We do not directly bill insurance for the most part, as the reimbursement process can be complex. If you wish to use your coverage, here are the steps:

    1. Check Your Policy: You must first verify if your insurance covers therapeutic massage, and specifically, if it covers services provided by a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) as opposed to a Physical Therapist (PT).

    2. Obtain a Referral: You will typically need a written referral or prescription from your primary care physician or specialist.

    3. File for Reimbursement: You will pay for your session upfront, and we will provide you with a detailed receipt (a Superbill) which you will submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement. On a Case-by-Case Basis: We do offer 1 or 2 insurance case studies per month. If you are interested in potentially being one of these cases, please contact us at mars@endlesssea.org.

  • No, it does not have to hurt! This is a common and incorrect belief. If your body is bracing or in pain, our therapeutic techniques are nowhere near as effective as they are when your nervous system is relaxed. While some techniques, like Trigger Point Therapy or Neuromuscular Facilitation, can be momentarily uncomfortable as we work to release deep tension, all sessions are tailored to each individual person and muscle. We use constant feedback to ensure the pressure is productive, not painful.

  • Not at all. While some clients like to talk, one of the greatest benefits of therapeutic massage is enhancing your proprioception—your body’s connection to itself. Silent treatments are always welcome and encouraged if that is what helps you relax. We will always ask questions regarding pressure, especially if we are performing a specific technique that requires dialogue (such as treating a trigger point that is referring pain), but the rest of the time is yours. It is perfectly okay to vent or express emotion on the table. Your massage therapist is a trained professional who will hold a safe space for you, stay within their scope of practice, and refer you to a licensed counselor or psychotherapist if needed.

  • No. Massage therapy is strictly non-sexual in nature, and any suggestion made otherwise is not taken lightly, and may result in being dismissed as a client. It is perfectly okay to leave your underwear on. All therapeutic massage is performed on a massage table using professional, modest draping procedures that ensure your body is not exposed where the therapist is not currently working. Genitals or breast tissue are never exposed or worked on.

  • You have the absolute right to receive the session that you want. If you are uncomfortable receiving touch in any body part for any reason, simply let your massage therapist know before the session begins, ideally at the first intake. We will honor your comfort zone and update your treatment plan at any follow-up visit.

  • Initially, it may be beneficial for you to receive a massage more frequently, such as twice a week, once a week, or every two weeks, to address acute issues or reset chronic patterns. Once you become more aware of your body and your symptoms subside, you can reduce the frequency to a maintenance schedule, typically every month. Some people prefer bi-weekly or quarterly maintenance sessions. Remember, massage therapy is not a "cure," it is a preventative, self-care therapy designed to keep you healthy, mobile, and connected to your body long-term.

  • Yes, absolutely! Therapeutic massage is a vital component of soft conditioning for top elite athletes. It can help with faster recovery between training sessions, improve flexibility and muscle readiness pre-event, and significantly aid in recovery post-event by flushing out metabolic waste and reducing inflammation. In addition, the reduced stress levels help improve mental focus and overall resilience.

Nutritional Therapy FAQs

  • Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutritional science to promote health, peak performance, and individual well-being. It focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of your health concerns, which often relate to imbalances in diet, digestion, and micronutrient status. We use a personalized, evidence-based approach to create sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes.

  • Nutritional therapy can support clients dealing with a wide array of goals and conditions, including:

    • Digestive Issues: Bloating, IBS symptoms, optimizing gut health, and addressing food sensitivities.

    • Energy and Fatigue: Improving energy levels, fighting chronic fatigue, and optimizing sleep patterns.

    • Stress & Mood: Supporting nervous system regulation, improving mood, and managing stress-related eating.

    • General Wellness: Achieving healthy weight goals, improving athletic performance, and ensuring a nutrient-dense diet.

    • Women's Health: Supporting hormonal balance through the life stages (menopause, postpartum) and dysfunction (PMS, infertility).

  • The initial consultation is comprehensive and lasts about 60 to 90 minutes. We focus on listening to your story to gather a complete picture of your health. You can expect us to discuss:

    1. Medical and Family History: Current and past symptoms, medications, and supplement usage.

    2. Dietary Assessment: A detailed look at your typical food intake, cooking habits, and relationship with food.

    3. Lifestyle Factors: Sleep quality, stress levels, physical activity, and environmental exposure.

    4. Goal Setting: We will collaboratively establish realistic, achievable health goals for the next 3 to 6 months. Based on this information, we create a clear, actionable plan focusing on diet, lifestyle, and potential supplement recommendations.

  • No, the roles are distinct, though both aim to improve health through nutrition.

    • Registered Dietitians (RDs/RDNs) are licensed health professionals, typically work in clinical settings (hospitals, clinics), and are qualified to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions using Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). They are highly regulated and focus on prescriptive diets for disease management.

    • Nutritional Therapists focus on preventative care, wellness, and optimizing function by addressing root cause imbalances through food and lifestyle. Our approach is highly personalized, focusing on long-term sustainable changes to support the body's natural healing capacity. We do not diagnose or treat medical diseases, but we work to complement the care provided by your physician.

  • We can certainly help you achieve a healthy, sustainable weight. Unlike restrictive crash diets, our approach focuses on:

    1. Balancing Blood Sugar: To reduce cravings and stabilize energy.

    2. Optimizing Metabolism: Ensuring you are getting the right macronutrients (protein, fat, carbohydrates) to fuel your body efficiently.

    3. Addressing Root Causes: Investigating factors like chronic stress, poor sleep, or gut health that often prevent long-term weight management.

The goal is to foster a positive relationship with food while building habits that keep the weight off for good.
